Highlights from January

What happened in the first month of 2013? – Not much TBH. Anyways, here are a few highlights…

As you might have picked up from a couple of my previous blog posts I had an extended Christmas holiday home at my parents’ in Harken. Oh - And really became close with these two fury fellas: Luffe & Malthe. On my last day in Harken Luffe finally revealed his love for me and: please bring me with you to Copenhagen, he said:

- What are you reading? my mum asked with curiosity when she saw the thick book that I was trying to fit into my suitcase.

- Oh, just Fifty Shades of Grey.

- Husmorporno, she said and rolled her eyes – A word I taught her myself.

- I’m reading it for research purposes, I snapped in defence.

So yeah. Currently I’m reading Fifty Shades of Grey, you know: The erotic books that are sold in more copies than Harry Potter. But I have to say I’m a little disappointed. First of all: It took forever to get to the part about fucking and then (before they even get started) Mr Grey makes Ana sign a contract that says:

No acts involving fire play
No acts involving urination or defecation and the products thereof.
No acts involving needles, knives, piercing, or blood.
No acts involving gynaecological instruments.
No acts involving children and animals.
No acts that will leave any permanent marks on the skin.
No acts involving breath control

No activity that involves the direct contact of electric current, fire, or flames to the body

And I’m just like: This shit sounds boring.

(Though I do agree on the part about children and animals).

Ana gladly accepts because she’s like: Any sane person wouldn’t want to be involved in these sort of things, surely - Well, maybe not you, you judgmental bitch.

Anyways – I try imagining Mr Grey as Ryan Gosling and that helps – Did ya’ll see him in Lars and the Real Girl? I watched it for the first time a couple of weeks ago and it’s SO cute!

Back home in Copenhagen I’ve been focusing on decorating my room – So maybe I really am becoming a “husmor”. Here’s my latest painting project (I’m actually pretty pleased with it):

Earlier today I went to see Asger Juel Larsens runway show #CFW and decided that I'm going to bring more punk into my wardrobe... And tonight I’m going to watch the first episode of the new season of FOR LÆKKER TIL LOVE. I’ve never watched it before (probably because I haven’t lived in a house with a TV for a very long time, but now I do – thanks to my two civilized flatmates!)

Oh, and BTW: One of my friends Lise is in it, and she’s nothing but amazing, so you should definitely watch it too!
